Girls Cross Country @ Mooresville Invitational 2026

University Girls Cross Country Wins Mooresville Invitational University Girls Cross Country came away with a strong team victory at the 2026 Mooresville Invitational, putting together an impressive performance from the top of the lineup through the rest of the team. Leading the way for University was Lilian Roch, who finished 3rd overall with a time of 23:25.8, averaging a 7:33 mile pace. Raya Stennis followed closely behind, placing 4th in 24:11.5, while Kaia Barron finished 5th in 24:21.7. Navya Shah added another strong finish for the team, taking 9th in 25:53.5, followed by Sidney Ellman Watson, who placed 13th with a time of 26:55.9. Delaney Blair finished 14th in 27:07.0, giving University a strong group of runners near the front of the field. University also received valuable contributions from its younger runners. Maxine Steensland finished in 32:31.9, followed by Piper Spieth in 34:15.3, Rita Fischer in 34:27.6, Brynn Kary in 34:29.1, Natalie Murray in 35:29.2, and Zoe Zelenak in 40:03.5. With six runners finishing inside the top 14, University showed the depth and consistency needed to secure the Mooresville Invitational team championship. The victory gives the Trailblazers another strong result early in the 2026 season and builds momentum as the team continues its cross country campaign.
