After what has been a mild late-summer, the 90+ degrees created grueling racing conditions as the humidity continued to rise as the afternoon wore on. That being said, not even the heat was competition enough for the Trailblazers. Jada led the entirety of the race, keeping a steady strong pace. Charlotte hopscotched her way through the course. Zoe had her eyes set on the podium, never looking back despite the attempts from the other teams to break-up what ended up being a Blazer sweep of the top three places. Isabella and Jolin formed a formidable pack to solidify places 7 and 8 overall, and thus, securing the Blazer victory! We are incredibly proud of Sam for her demonstration of grit and persistence that secured her 12th place overall. In running it is often the spirit that provides the triumph from the training. Ella’s cheers along the course were the very chorus every runner needed to hear! Incredible showing, yet again, Blazers!!!
