Another heatwave swept the cross country course Thursday night. Despite the mercury’s climbing efforts, it could not hinder the exceptional performance of our Trailblazers.

Thomas Price threw down the most daring race of the night, passing countless runners from the other teams. Price has been working hard in practices and it is paying off. There are few other runners in the conference as focused as he is! Isaiah Smith continues to reel in the top field of runners, getting closer to the podium with every stride. Noah Laramore ran a wise race – a strategy that allowed him to glide into second place with relative ease. He continues to race his race which should serve him well at sectionals. Tommy Kaplan continues to edge out other schools thus moving the Blazers up in the team score ranking. He is a key player in our continued team success. It wasBenjamin Pollack-Milgate’s 5K race on the XC course and he was on FIRE!!!! We are looking forward to seeing what he does with the remainder of the season.

This team makes us proud not only in how they race, but how they continue to cheer on each other, as well as their competitors from other schools. Their speed has them going great distances, but it is this spirit that will take them the farthest.
