With a very close final score, the Trailblazers were not quite able to defeat Muncie-Burris at their conference meet in January. Nevertheless, the girls had some great swims.

Charlotte Kumler also came in second in the 200 free, as did the relay team of Audrey Priest, Charlotte Kumler, Regan Hooker, and Kylar Kavanaugh in the 400 free relay.

Somehow, we pulled some best times in there yesterday! They are also written in blue on the result sheet:
200 medley relays saw best splits from Audrey Priest (fly- 33.90) and Madison Clary (fly- 36.65).
Macy Paton dropped two seconds in her 200 free (2:43.55).
In the 200 IM, Kylar Kavanaugh took a little off (2:50.63).
Zoe had her best flat start 50 free with her finish of 31.57.
Madison Clary dropped a whopping 4 seconds in her 100 free (1:10.32)– so close to that sub-1:10 barrier!
Kate Lautenbach swam the 500 free for the first time (8:18.42). She went out a best 100 time (1:31.54). While she has not swam the 200 at a meet before, her split there was 3:15.64.
In the 200 free relay, Zoe Napier (31.62) and Kate Lautenbach (37.08) went best 50 free relay splits.
Though I don’t know how official this is, I am pretty sure that Audrey Priest’s 1:19.26 was a best time.
Our 400 free relays at the end of the meet had best splits from Zoe Napier (1:13.54) and Madison Clary (1:10.23).
The Trailblazers swim next against Noblesville and North Central High Schools on Tuesday, January 14th.
