The Trailblazers played an all around solid game Thursday night against Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School. The first inning was a quiet one for both teams. Tindley had a strong hit in the first inning, but was not able to earn a run. It was a similar story for the Trailblazers in the first. The Trailblazers played solid defense in the second inning and were able to get their bats hot and earned 5 runs. The third inning was another strong one for the Trailblazers and they were able to add 9 more runs to their total. The Trailblazers won 14-0. Freshman Kendra Stevens pitched a strong game with 13 strikeouts on the mound and sophomore Abby Martin was found behind the plate. Juniors Lydia Copeland had 2 hits, 1 run, and 1 RBI and Haley Tomlinson had 2 hits, 2 runs, and 2 RBIs, Stevens had 3 hits, 1 run, and 2 RBIs, junior Lillian Klemsz had 1 hit and 1 run, sophomore Annie Klemsz had 1 hit and 3 runs, sophomores Elise Nachlis had 2 hits, 2 runs, and 3 RBIs with one of her hits being an in the park home run and Robin Karwath had 1 run, 1 hit, and 1 RBI, junior Tatiana Dunipace had 1 hit, 1 run, and 1 RBI, and freshman Grace Brenner had 2 runs and 1 RBI.
