The University High School boys cross country team earned their first-ever victory of the Sheridan Invitational today. Even absent lead runner Ian Salmon, the Trailblazers came together to earn the win. Sophomore Lucca Conti and senior Noah Laramore led the team, finishing first and second in the race, respectively. But it was an exceptional effort from the remaining team members — freshman Isaiah Smith who took fifth, sophomore Thomas Price who took seventh (and ran a career PR), freshman Foster Wilson who took 14th, and sophomore Tommy Kaplan who took 15th — that sealed the win for the Trailblazers. Congratulations to the team!
