Seven University High School swimmers — Caitlin Clark, Ella Eskenazi, Regan Hooker, Kylar Kavanaugh, Annie Klemsz, Macy Paton, and Cordell Wilson — have earned Academic All-America honors for the 2019-20 season from the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (NISCA).
To be eligible for this award, a swimmer must be a senior, must earn their varsity letter in swimming in their senior year, and must have a cumulative GPA (after seven semesters) of 3.75 or better.
Only a few hundred swimmers nationwide are eligible for the award each year. This group of seven represents the largest group of Academic All-Americans University High School has ever had. In 2017, three Trailblazers earned the distinction. And in 2019, four Trailblazers made the list.
Congratulations to all seven of these swimmers!
