On Monday, March 2, one Trailblazer athlete signed a National Letter of Intent to play NAIA women’s soccer at Marian University in the fall.
Senior Tessa Hudson, a girls soccer player at University High School and member of the Class of 2020, will play the sport at Marian next year.
Hudson signed the letter in front of her parents, coaches, teammates, and peers at University High School in a special ceremony after school.
“Tessa has been a four-year member of the girls soccer team here at University High School, and she’s the type of player who really was a program changer for us,” said head girls soccer coach Maddy MacAllister. “From the very beginning, Tessa has been a four-year starter, she’s played lots of different positions for us, and she’s really made our team better through her tenacity, her willingness to do anything for our team, and her ability to be a great leader for the younger players.”
