University High School is excited to introduce their newest athletic trainer, Betsy Bradley.
Bradley is an athletic trainer with Riverview Health, University High School’s official sports medicine provider beginning in the 2019-20 school year. She will provide Trailblazer student-athletes with sports medicine services during practices and games, including stretching instruction, post-workout care, injury prevention, and emergency treatment.
Bradley comes to University High School with previous experience as an athletic trainer for Park Tudor School, USA Synchronized Swimming, and Westfield High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Indiana University (with an emphasis on athletic training and physical education) and a Master of Education degree from the University of Arkansas.
Bradley is a runner and triathlete who loves the outdoors. Last spring, she hiked a section of the Appalachian Trail in Virginia.
“What I am most excited about as I begin to work at University High School is joining the incredible sense of community and helping students through their high school journey, both athletically and academically,” Bradley said.
In addition to Bradley’s work with University High School student-athletes, Riverview Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine has also appointed a team physician to work with the Trailblazers. University High School alumna Jenna Walls (’05) will be the new team physician for University High School.
Please join us in welcoming Betsy Bradley and Jenna Walls to the University High School team!
