Garrett Hill scattered 7 hits and struck out 7 while throwing a complete game and giving up one unearned run. Eastern Illinois commit Blake Malatestinic threw a complete game no-hitter for Class 2A #4 ranked Cardinal Ritter.

Zach Jannsen complete an unassisted double play on a hard line drive to first to get the Blazers out of a bases loaded jam in the 3rd inning, while Cade Carlson and Dawson Estep turned a 6-4-3 double play in the seventh inning to keep the Ritter runners off of the base paths.
