In their fourth meet of the season, the AquaBlazers fell to Cascade, North Putnam, Pioneer, and Clinton Central. Despite their loss, the boys had some fantastic swims in the water.
Senior Brody Davison broke the boys’ first varsity record of the meet when he won the 100 butterfly with a time of 57.08. Sophomore Cole Reinholt broke another of the team’s records later in the meet when he went a 1:12.08 in the 100 breaststroke. Reinholt also went a best time earlier in the meet when he dropped 3 seconds in his 200 IM to finish fourth with a time of 2:34.00. The team’s other best times of the meet came from Cordell Wilson, who went a 1:06.35 in the 100 freestyle, and Zach Daniels, who dropped 5 seconds down to a 1:40.22 in the 100 breaststroke. Finally, the boys wrapped up the meet with a 400 freestyle relay team of Reinholt, Charles Earle, Wilson, and Davison, who went a 4:16.87, just missing the team record.
The AquaBlazers will compete next on Saturday, December 17th when they attend the Zionsville Invitational at Zionsville High School. The meet will begin around 11:00am.
