Meet Recap

The University High School girls cross country team had a strong showing in the Landes Invitational on Thursday, despite being down two of their varsity runners. Sophomore Jada Swearingen led the team, finishing 14th with a time of 23:02. Other notable performances were run by sophomore Robin Karwath (26:50), junior Lauren Flickner (27:51), and sophomore Isabella Garino-Heisey, who broke the 30-minute barrier for the first time ever and finished in 29:20.
