Game Recap

University gave up 2 unearned runs in the 4th inning to fall behind 2-0. The Blazers then loaded the bases with no outs in the sixth after a lead off single by Kyle Richards and two infield errors. Will Spence then ripped a two strike single in to right center to score two runs. With runners on second and third, Ben Westerkamm then laid down the safety squeeze to score Cade Carlson from third and take the lead 3-2. Garrett Hill then closed the game in the 7th with a strikeout and two ground outs.

Zach Jannsen got no decision after going 5.1 innings, while scattering 6 hits and giving up 0 earned runs. Cade Carlson earned the win on the mound for the Blazers.

The offense was lead by Will Spence who laid down two sac bunts and had the clutch 2 RBI single in the sixth inning. Hudson Bebo also had a double and a single on the night.

The Blazers moved to 10-4 (4-0) on the season.
