Tennis Conference Win

University High School’s boys tennis team persevered through rain delays to clinch its first-ever Pioneer Academic-Athletic Conference championship on Saturday, September 10 at Ball State University’s Cardinal Creek Tennis Complex.

Seniors Troy Belanger, Ray Lu, Luke Hook, Christian Means, and Zach Chen, along with freshmen Logan Hubbard and Kaleb Stocker, all delivered terrific matches and represented the Trailblazers well.

Belanger, Hubbard, and Lu swept the all-conference singles matches, and on the doubles courts, Means and Chen took all-conference honors.

Congratulations to the coaches and to the entire boys tennis team on a great season so far!

With so many seniors on the Trailblazers tennis team this year, the program will need some new players to continue this winning streak next year and beyond. Trailblazers who want to play hard, have fun, and win should contact the tennis coaches to join the team next year.
